On this episode of The Q.Psience Project, guest Shelli Joye, Ph.D. joins host Jill Hanson to discuss her book, Tuning the Mind: Geometries of Consciousness – Holonomic Brain Theory and The Implicate Order, which presents a psychophysical map of consciousness supported by both her own direct experience, as well as major concepts that have emerged in modern quantum physics and brain research, including the Holonomic Mind/Brain theory of Karl Pribram and the Implicate/Explicate orders developed by the quantum physicist David Bohm.
Tune in to The Q.Psience Project this coming Friday, JULY 21ST from 10pm-Midnight ET | 7-9pm PT: www.KGRAradio.com

ABOUT: Dr. Joye entered Rice University on a Physics scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. After working for three years with John Lilly in research involving isolation tanks and interspecies communication, she studied with Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and subsequently earned an M.A. in Indian Philosophy. She was awarded her Ph.D. in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and developed the ground-breaking Pribram-Bohm holoflux theory of consciousness under the guidance of Drs. Allan Leslie Combs, Brian Swimme, and Dean Radin. Dr. Joye is the CEO of The Viola Institute, working to establish a consciousness research and contemplative retreat center in the countryside north of Assisi, and will be presenting at Science and Nonduality 2017.
