1.6.17 Digital Philosophers TOM CAMPBELL & JIM ELVIDGE

FRIDAY, 1.6.17, host JILL HANSON welcomes preeminent digital philosophers TOM CAMPBELL and JIM ELVIDGE to The Q.Psience Project to discuss the evidence which suggests and supports the notion that we may be living in a simulated, digital reality.

Tom Campbell began researching altered states of consciousness with Bob Monroe (Journeys Out Of The Body, Far Journeys, and The Ultimate Journey) at Monroe Laboratories in the early 1970s where he and a few others were instrumental in getting Monroe’s laboratory for the study of consciousness up and running. These early drug-free consciousness pioneers helped design experiments, developed the technology for creating specific altered states, and were the main subjects of study (guinea pigs) all at the same time. Campbell has been experimenting with, and exploring the subjective and objective mind ever since. For the past thirty years, Campbell has been focused on scientifically exploring the properties, boundaries, and abilities of consciousness.

The theory presented in Tom’s My Big TOE Trilogy, is that ‘all that there is’ is an unimaginably huge source of digital consciousness which he calls AUM (Absolute Unbounded Manifold of sequences, patterns, realities, dimensions, and existence).  AUM is aware, active, and purposeful.  Each of us conscious entities are an individuated subset of AUM, the greater consciousness.  Our apparent space-time reality is virtual, a “learning lab” that AUM evolved for us to improve the quality of our consciousness.  By having individuated consciousnesses evolve, AUM can itself evolve at a faster rate.  He uses ‘love’ as the word to describe how high quality low-entropy consciousnesses interact with others and defines spirituality as ‘consciousness quality.’ The model of AUM contains multiple ‘physical matter realities’ (PMRs) like our own, as well as non-physical matter realities (NPMRs).  These can be nested.  Campbell creates a very detailed conceptual model of reality that contains digital clock rates, simulations, and probabilistic futures.  The framework provides an excellent foundation for observed psi effects, quantum mechanics, spiritual experiences, and advanced philosophical ideas.

Jim Elvidge synthesizes ideas from the varied fields of artificial intelligence, cosmology, nanotechnology, quantum mechanics, and the paranormal to provide categories of evidence that support the idea that our reality is both digital and under a form of programmatic control, which Elvidge calls “programmed reality.”  He has contributed a special focus on demonstrating that the many and various anomalies of quantum mechanics, including entanglement, the observer effect, non-reality, non-locality, and the apparent retrocausality of the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser experiment, all have simple cohesive explanations in the programmed reality model – in fact, Jim points out that these anomalies are actually requirements of an efficient digital reality model. Jim’s groundbreaking book: The Universe – Solved!

Tune in to KGRA-db the first Friday night of JANUARY 1017 from 10pm-Midnight ET to hear Tom and Jim present the scientific evidence for this mind-blowing hypothesis – a night of talk radio you DON’T want to miss!
